Game Boy music

for anyone interested: i make music with game boys (thats what i mod them for; the classic DMG game boys have the best sound, but the display is horrible without internal light). here is a link to one of my many music aliases:

Game Boy modding

so I started modding game boys. its for making chip music on them, a.k.a. 8bit music. its really rather cheap to do that, you just have the hassle of ordering the parts (shipping from USA to europe kinda sucks) and getting a soldering iron. the building process itself is not that difficult, especially the soldering ... on the classic DMG Game Boys, anyway, because the parts are not as small or densely packed as in, say, a smartphone.
I also mod and/or build Game Boys (mainly DMGs, because thats what i worked with so far) for other people, if anyone is interested. Keep in mind that i live in Germany, though; if you live in the US, kitsch-bent
